Chinemelu D. Elonu, Jr. (born March 11, 1987 in Nigeria) is a Nigerian American basketball player. He played college basketball for Texas A&M.

Elonu played at Texas A&M University from the 2006–2009 seasons. His junior and final season, he averaged 10 points and 7 rebounds per game.[1] He graduated from the school in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Leadership and Development.[2]
Elonu was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 59th pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.[1] He later signed a two-year deal with the Spanish club team Zaragoza where he averaged 6.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. He has an opt-out clause that will allow him to sign with the Lakers after the 2009-10 season.[3] In August 2010 he signed with Panionios BC in Greece.[4] In January 2011 he signed with Pau-Orthez in France.[5]
